For future reference, the shortcut to print is (hold down the ctrl key while pressing the letter P simultaneously). Also, there is no such thing as a Black and white ink tank. It's only black!
Thankyou very much for your help. I just bought one today. Even though I didn't need to hook up the cable, you made the process easier and simpler.
Don't go returning it when it breaks... They will say its your fault for not installing ink correctly. It looks the same as the XP-312. Epson 18 inks are cheaper on Amazon and finally go and get photo paper as cheap Epson's make superb prints! BTW WallMart don't all use Epson as photo printers as in my country we have ASDA which is owned by Wall-Mart and they use Kodak. Get ink off Amazon... I got 4 sets+4 black for £9.10 for compatible ones which work just as good.

I've pretty much decided to return mine. Scanner won't work. Regular printing, both wireless and USB connection, works fine but scanner won't work either way. Supposedly there is a fix, but it's such a complicated procedure it's not worth the effort.

Nice video but sorry to say, this is not how u install ink cartridges. first thing first,u need to turn power on and u can change any settings later using ur control panel.u put cartridges there the way he showed in video then close down the top and press ◊ to prime button ( right side on the control panel, big button, no way u can miss that)and printer will do the rest. plz read the instructions. never move cartridge tray by hand, it might damage ur printer.
How long will the ink last?
my laptop has no cd tray. would that be a problem? seeing that you had to use the driver that came with the printer
All you had to do was connect your printer to your router, then put the CD into your computer and set the printer up as a wireless printer. Took me about 5 minutes to do.
